A new dimension of fertilisation and drilling

The demand for seeding combinations with precise fertiliser placement is growing, including for sowing rapeseed and cereals. That’s why LEMKEN offers its Compact-Solitair with compact disc harrow in versions with 4 and 6 metres working width and integrated under-root fertilisation. This promotes the rapid juvenile development of crops with both conventional and conservation tillage and therefore produces considerable increases in yields, especially with summer cereals and in regions with short vegetation periods.

  • This high-efficiency combination is equipped with a divided hopper with a volume of 3,500 or 5,000 litres; the separation between the compartments can be adjusted by simply moving the partition to change the seed/fertiliser ratio between 40:60, 50:50 or 60:40. Both compartments can be easily filled using big bags or an auger.
  • The electrically driven metering shafts for seeds and fertiliser allow the application rates to be independently and continuously adjusted. The rate for seeds can be adjusted between 1.5 and 300 kg, and that for fertiliser between 50 and 600 kg per hectare.
  • The LEMKEN operating terminal and the Solitronic electronic control allow the driver to control and monitor all functions of the Compact Solitair easily from the tractor cabin. An ISOBUS-compatible control is also available.
  • For seedbed preparation, the tools of the Heliodor compact disc harrow are used, followed by double disc coulters with a 400 mm disc diameter for depositing fertiliser. They place fertiliser precisely at the desired depth. The coulter pressure can be increased to a maximum of 150 kg in the process. The generously dimensioned wheels of the tyre packer roller finally produce an optimally reconsolidated seedbed. LEMKEN offers an integrated trapeze packer roller for additional preconsolidation of seed rows.
  • The maintenance-free OptiDisc double disc coulters with trailing depth control wheel and a row spacing of 167 mm guarantee precise seed placement with an even soil cover. The positioning of the tools and the placement of the fertiliser between two rows of seeds ensure that all plants are optimally supplied with fertiliser and prevents fertiliser burn in roots. As a result, ideal conditions are established for rapid plant growth.
